Colorful Addition
I got a new fish: a paradise fish. I'd been gifted a hanging fish tank shaped like a dome for Christmas. I didn't want bettas again, so the guy at the store said to try one of these. He's pretty and when the light is just right, you can practically see through his flesh in the reddish stripe area. He seems pretty smart too...Labels: fish
Killer Tuna Sandwich
Someone is trying to kill me...but not very good at it. I received a bunch of small tuna cans as they hadn't been eaten since they were purchased years ago, and most liekly would not be eaten in the near future. And so I inherited them. Though much smaller than the standard cans, they were unusually light...hmmm...and so I shook the cans and lo and behold, there was no liquid inside and the contents rattled around like a child's toy. Eh??? Upon opening the can (no vaccuum seal left), I found incredibly dessicated tuna. How old is this stuff? I'm glad it was not an emergency food source or that I was in a bomb shelter with dinner in mind. ;) Just check out the rust! Last time I checked, iron oxide was not a required nutrient...Botox ingestion anyone?
