Anemones of the Land

It was almost like something out of a horror movie. As I ripped open the pomelo segment, I was greeted with what could have passed as the appendages of a wrathful anemone born of the Earth on a tree rather than in the sea. Had it been 50x larger and wriggling, I would have thrown it back in the wild. Instead, the sweet anemone spread apart as I nibbled away at its juicy fingers. It had no chance against my greedy tastebuds.

Cactus Gone Wild!!

That Christmas cactus has really let loose and I've caught all the action on camera! Woo hoo! So the cactus has decided to flower *yet* again in such short time! Unbelievable! It must be the fish waste water with its high nitrates doing the trick! Wow! Potent fertlizer! I should stockpile it better and sell some of it too! ;)

Ice Flow

Day View
Night View

Miniature glimpses into the lands of ice at the two poles. The "clumping" effect of the ice made it look particularly organic and considering how glaciers are moving and changing themselves and the landscape, they could very well be like a gargantuan creature from the ice age. Unfortunately, as the glaciers melt away, we can not preserve them as living 'DNA' repositories in zoos or parks. =(
